STonX simulates an ST Atari, in addition to a number of features MegaST later, Saint systems such as 12-bit panel. It does not support the instruction set and hardware for enhanced Atari TT and Falcon, said to be an unofficial version that the necessary instructions for dealing with the 68,030, but not outside of the graphics modes. STonX required to display X 8-bit and 20 MB of physical memory to emulate MegaST 4 MB.

STonX does a good job to run GEM programs and deal with the metal-bashing game a lot, although it is less complete in this regard.
Java version is STonX neat hack, but it is very slow in Netscape (4) and barely fast, even in the Java VM optimized. It is relatively easy to get to work, though.
STonX emulator is free, but has room for improvements in the installation and documentation. Many games come on discs protected and can not be read, even if the transfer of files that can not be certain that the emulator will deal with them.
Try another ROM system or the screen when a program, which is usually sent through a series of drawings a hand grenade when it starts. Many are the ST fussy about the disk or the screen, but if you are familiar with the original must have such properties in your stride, you’re likely to find STonX performed better than the real thing in many ways.
